An orientation programme was organized to apprise parents of the major curriculum changes introduced for Class IX for the academic session 2026–27. The programme aimed to strengthen the partnership between home and school while helping parents understand the new academic structure, assessment pattern and learning expectations under CBSE guidelines 
The parents were informed that the revised curriculum has been aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023, with a focus on competency-based learning, critical thinking, creativity and holistic development. The programme also explained the significance of Class IX registration with CBSE, updated subjects and the new assessment structure.
It was further shared that the revised framework is designed to move beyond rote learning and encourage conceptual understanding through experiential activities, project work, multidisciplinary education, vocational exposure, physical well-being and communication skills. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment to address parents’ queries and concerns.
