Infant Jesus Convent School is an English medium, co-educational Christian minority school, established by Simla-Chandigarh Education Society and administered by the religious Congregation of the sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore. All the members of the Simla-Chandigarh Education Society are Catholic priests, belonging to Simla-Chandigarh Diocese.
The growing requirement of a convent school in the area paved the path of establishing this institution. This journey began in 2006 when Simla-Chandigarh Diocese Society purchased land from the government and laid the foundation stone on 15 November by the then Bishop, Rt Rev Gerald John Mathias.Therafter, the enthusiastic & untiring work of construction was commenced by Fr.Ambrose D’Souza.The school was established primarily for the education of the catholic youth and extends its services to the members of the other communities.

In a nutshell, our main motive is the overall development of an individual which helps in building a flourishing and prosperous family, community, society and in turn, a nation.
Initially, the school was administered by the religious Congregation of the Ursuline Sisters of Mary Immaculate. Sr.Fabiola UMI was the first principal of the school followed by Sr. Alina UMI. In July 2015, it was handed over to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany.Sr Tara took the charge as the principal and Sr.Vanitha Veena is the present principal.
The concerted efforts added a significant feather to the cap of Infant Jesus Convent School as it got affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi in 2015 with affiliation no. 1630902.
This was how the Infantine family members started walking together with Joy and Harmony for the sake of well being of the society.
