A special session on “Being a Girl- Menstrual Hygiene Awareness” was conducted by Ms Aaushi, a counsellor from Procter (P&G) for the girls of Class IX. 

The resource person explained what menstrual cycle is and why it occurs, encouraging girls to view it as a natural part of growing up. She discussed the importance of hygiene, usage of clean sanitary products and safe disposal methods. Common myths about the menstrual cycle were addressed and girls were encouraged to continue their routine activities with care during menstruation. Tips on handling sudden periods at school were also shared.

The interactive session ended with a Q&A, leaving the students informed, confident, and empowered about menstrual health.
