CONSERVE MY PLANET – SESSION 2

An engaging session was conducted for Green Ambassadors of classes V to VIII. This session was organized by a representative from Sharp NGO, Ms. Akansha. The goal of this session was to engage students in activities to help students gain an understanding on the ways to promote a greener tomorrow for the future.

Key Activities conducted:

1. Painting Competition: Students actively participated in the painting competition. They beautifully showcased the ways to conserve energy for a greener future.

2. Energy Audit: A student handbook was given to each green ambassador. The resource person explained to students the use the booklet. She also explained to students how to conduct an Energy Audit. The students noted down the formulas to calculate the energy consumption. The students will conduct an Energy Audit of their home and record it in their handbooks. 

The students expressed their  interest in the topic. Many shared their ideas and

commitment to adopt energy-saving habits after the session. The facilitator aims to follow up

with additional resources and possibly organize future workshops to further engage students in

sustainable practices.
